Robert Francis Chenet passed away peacefully in his sleep on Dec. 1. He was 95 years old.

Robert was born on Feb. 21, 1928, in Northampton, Mass. He served in the Army from 1950 to 1956, stationed in Germany. Robert loved to spend time with his family and dogs, working in the yard or in his wood workshop.

Robert was predeceased by his sisters, Shirley Church and Helen Chenet. Robert is survived by his wife, Genevieve, of 66 years, and their three children, Robert and his wife, Sharlyn Chenet, of Honolulu, Thomas Chenet of Hawthorne and Patricia Mennillo of Stamford, Conn. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Theresa Mennillo of Rochester, N.Y., Samantha Mennillo of Stamford and Kim Yin, Kristin Smith and Kailee Shiraishi of Honolulu, along with three great-grandchildren in Honolulu.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Beecher Funeral Home. His final resting place will be Mount Calvary Cemetery in White Plains.
