Plus 40 swept Mansion-Broadway in two straight games of the best two-out-of-three games Residential C Playoff Championship Series. Plus 40 won the first game 12-8 and then came-back in the night-cap to win a fierce battle of wills in the last inning 10-9.

“My hat is off to Mansion-Broadway, as they are a good team. But if you hit the ball hard anything can happen,” expressed pitcher Mike Dillegge, who won both games of the doubleheader for Plus 40. Mansion-Broadway was the favorite to win the Playoff Championship having won the Residential C League this year.

The Plus 40 team is sponsored by the American Legion Post 135 on Mitchell Place, in White Plains.
