Croton-on-Hudson Police Department

Apr. 27: A caller reported at 3:54 p.m. that his ex-wife was outside his house on Grand Street blasting her car horn. The caller also stated that his ex has an active warrant. Patrol responded and reported that a custody exchange was completed without further incident. Also, there was no active warrant.

Apr. 28: A caller reported multiple men yelling at each other at the BP gas station on Route 9A at 5:31 p.m. Patrol was dispatched and reported one male was talking loudly on a phone call.

Apr. 30: Report by a Half Moon Bay Drive resident that her neighbor was pointing her home surveillance camera at her at 11:39 a.m. The caller reported that while she was walking to her car, the neighbor came out of her home and yelled at her.

May 1: A Van Wyck Street caller reported at 2:32 p.m. that two baby eagles had fallen from their nest and one of the eagles was deceased. The other eagle was located about 40 feet up into the tree. The responding wildlife expert stated that the baby eagle was high enough in the tree for its parents to care for it.

May 1: At 5:24 p.m., a Cleveland Drive resident reported a dark-colored SUV was parked on the street playing loud music. The caller asked the driver to turn down the music. The driver then began cursing at him. When the caller went back into his home, the driver exited the vehicle and began jumping up and down giving him the middle finger. Patrol was dispatched and reported that the dispute was resolved.

Mount Pleasant Police Department

May 2: Two parties were arrested following a multi-jurisdiction investigation for possession of counterfeit currency. An investigation was conducted related to numerous instances of subjects passing a large amount of counterfeit currency for prepaid gift cards at retailers in Westchester and Putnam counties. A vehicle fitting a previous description was stopped by police after one of the described subjects departed a Thornwood business. The suspect was found to be in possession of numerous counterfeit $100 bills. Also assisting in the investigation were police departments in Carmel, Rye and Croton-on-Hudson, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department and the Westchester Department of Public Safety.

New Castle Police Department

Apr. 29: Police responded to a Millwood residence on a report of a stolen vehicle. The registered owner reported she left the keys in the vehicle, which was parked in her driveway overnight. The investigation is ongoing.

North Castle Police Department

Apr. 28: Report of aggravated harassment on Nethermont Avenue at 9:43 a.m. The complainant reported receiving threatening voice messages.

Apr. 28: The No Left Turn sign was reported missing from the northbound shoulder directly across from 925 N. Broadway at 12:13 p.m. Notification was made to Westchester County regarding the condition.

May 2: A party arrived at headquarters at 12:20 p.m. to report that his front license plate was stolen off of his vehicle.

May 3: A Banksville Avenue resident reported at 7:43 a.m. that her mailbox was vandalized. The responding officer gathered the information; depositions and photos were secured.

May 3: A Hillandale Avenue resident reported a motor vehicle accident outside her residence at 9:36 a.m. The responding officers reported air bag deployment with possible injuries. One party was transported to Westchester Medical Center.

Pleasantville Police Department

May 1: Report of harassment on Tompkins Avenue at 9:40 p.m. There was a dispute between two co-workers at a place of business.

May 1: A 25-year-old New York City woman was arrested at 3:04 p.m. for offenses involving fraud at Chase Bank on Washington Avenue. No other information was made available.

May 4: Report of a past larceny at Pubstreet on Wheeler Ave at 1:54 p.m. The matter is an open case; no additional information was made available.
