County Police/Mount Kisco

July 27: An officer responded to West Street on a noise complaint at 9:12 p.m. A resident reported that the alarm on a parked vehicle had been sounding for a half-hour. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

July 28: An officer responded to the post office on Main Street at 12:52 p.m. after a woman called to complain that postal employees would not give her medicine that had been mailed to her mother. The woman was advised that the dispute was not a police matter.

July 28: An officer responded to an East Main Street business at 5:56 p.m. on a report of a person trying to sell candy to customers and refusing to leave when requested to do so. The trespasser was gone upon an officer’s arrival.

Croton-on-Hudson Police Department

July 19: A caller from Lexington Drive reported at 2:39 p.m. that his neighbor was on his property pulling weeds. Patrol responded and advised the parties to get their property lines checked.

July 20: A Bari Manor caller reported at 5 p.m. that gas-powered leaf blowers were being used without a permit. Patrol was dispatched and advised the workers of the village’s seasonal ban on gas-powered leaf blowers. A verbal warning was issued.

July 22: The owner of The Black Cow Coffee Co. reported that there was a group of protestors outside of her business at 10:39 a.m. Patrol was dispatched. Patrol reported that the group was on public property and was neither blocking the entryway to the business nor pedestrian or vehicular traffic.

July 22: A South Riverside Avenue caller reported a dispute with another motorist on the roadway at 3:34 p.m. The caller stated that a male motorist had been following her for a few minutes and had pulled next to her vehicle. Patrols were dispatched and the motorists were sent on their way.

New Castle Police Department

July 22: Police responded to a Chappaqua residence on a report of a larceny from a vehicle. The vehicle was parked unlocked in the driveway of the residence when an unknown subject entered the vehicle during the overnight hours. Personal belongings were removed from the vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.

July 25: Detectives arrested an Ossining man for an outstanding bench warrant out of this jurisdiction.

July 26: Officers and detectives responded to a local residence on a report of an active domestic dispute between family members. A 27-year-old man was arrested for multiple offenses, the highest charge being third-degree criminal mischief, a Class E Felony.

North Castle Police Department

July 22: State police forwarded an e911 call from two lost female hikers at the Meyer Preserve at 5:27 p.m. The parties had been lost for about three hours. State police had an expert on the line assisting them via GPS. He advised them to face west and walk toward Oregon Road. Two North Castle officers were dispatched to the preserve’s Oregon Road entrance. The caller was advised to download an app called WHAT 3 WORDS to assist officers in locating them. Officers were then advised of their location on the app. Bedford police responded with ATV units to assist. Parties were located a half-mile in from the Oregon Road entrance. Both parties were assisted and checked okay.

July 24: Caller reported a dispute between herself and an employee at the U-Haul site on Virginia Road at 4:11 p.m. and is requesting a police response. One of the responding officers reported there was a disagreement between an employee and customer regarding a return the customer wanted to make. The officer advised the customer to contact the general manager. Matter adjusted.

Pleasantville Police Department

July 21: Report of an arrest made at 7:01 p.m. Police would not release further details because the matter is the subject of an active investigation.

July 24: Report of a larceny on Charlmont Drive at 10:38 a.m. A subject had entered a resident’s vehicle and personal property was stolen.

July 24: A call was received from the BP gas station convenience store on Marble Avenue at 8:12 p.m. A juvenile attempted to steal vape pens. The property was returned; no charges were pressed.

July 26: A Foxwood Drive resident reported at 3:02 p.m. that plants were taken from a garden in front of the residence.

Yorktown Police Department

July 24: Ryan McCullough, 28, of Tuckahoe, was charged at 4:40 p.m. with fourth-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and third-degree burglary, all felonies, following a report of a past burglary to a storage unit on Front Street. A victim that was interviewed reported her unit had been broken into and $2,364 worth of merchandise was stolen. Following an investigation, the stolen property was found to be in McCullough’s unit.

July 27: A 26-year-old Yorktown woman was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor, at 11:21 a.m. for concealing $802 worth of merchandise in a baby stroller and leaving Macy’s at Jefferson Valley Mall without paying for the items. She was apprehended after a Westchester County police patrol sergeant observed a vehicle that was traveling on South Bedford Road in Mount Kisco just over an hour before her arrest. County police notified Yorktown, who took the woman into custody.
