Parkinson’s Disease Foundation Fundraiser Planned for November 22

We are part of The Trust Project

David Eger, Ph.D., of White Plains is using passion for music to benefit the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation (PDF) through the 13th annual Music for Parkinson’s Research (MPR) concert on Sunday, Nov. 22.  Proceeds from the chamber music concert, which begins at 3 p.m. at the Congregation Emanu-El in Rye, support the research of a PDF-funded postdoctoral fellow studying genetics and Parkinson’s disease.

Dr. Eger, founding Co-chair of PDF’s People with Parkinson’s Advisory Council, co-founded the event, which has become a warm tradition in the community. Since 2003, Music for Parkinson’s has raised more than $500,000 for Parkinson’s research, annually drawing more than one hundred guests and the support of internationally acclaimed musicians.
