Examiner to Toast Summer, Quinquennial at Murphy’s in Yorktown

We are part of The Trust Project

Examiner Media and Murphy’s Irish Bar and Grill in Yorktown are hosting an open house style party on Thursday, June 14 at Murphy’s to celebrate the return of summer and to toast The Examiner’s coming five-year anniversary. All are invited. Festivities begin at 5 p.m. and the patio will be opened up for the bash.

The party will feature a D.J. and Murphy’s will be preparing free food for attendees. The restaurant’s signature dish — shepherd’s pie — will be served, among other free appetizers. Murphy’s will also be offering $1 off drinks and other drink specials.

Examiner Media was started in 2007, debuting The Examiner on Sept. 11 of that year. Since then, the company has launched three more newspapers, The Northern Westchester Examiner, The White Plains Examiner and The Putnam Examiner. The company also operates TheExaminerNews.com, a news and information website, and produces a weekly public affairs television show, Examiner News Talk. The program is broadcast on PCTV and PCTV76.org.
