Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl Cancelled

White Plains High School and Archbishop Stepinac High School have made a joint announcement that this year’s Thanksgiving Day Football Game, slated for Thursday November 26th, has been cancelled. Stepinac Athletic Director Michael O’Donnell said that his team may be continuing to play past Thanksgiving Day in playoff games and would not have the required rest between games. Both O’Donnell and White Plains Athletic Director Matt Cameron said that “the game is a great tradition for both schools and the entire community and we are sorry we will not be playing it this year.
