PHOTOS: Pleasantville Memorial Day Parade 2012
Citizens of Pleasantville packed Bedford Road on Monday for the annual Memorial Day parade. Local groups such as the Dad’s Club of Pleasantville and the Pleasantville Lions club marched alongside members of the town police and fire departments, firing guns and displaying banners in celebration. Town administrators held a ceremony to commemorate the Pleasantville citizens killed in action throughout history, after stopping to rest at the town’s World War I monument.
