2. Memorial Day Parade in Chappaqua (5/30)

Join in the Memorial Day events in Chappaqua to honor veterans who gave their lives for American freedom. The event begins with the Monument Ceremony at 10:30 a.m. at Victory Corners and is followed by the traditional parade at 11 a.m. The Parade begins at Ridgewood Terrace. Gather at the Chappaqua Train Station at 11:30 a.m. for the Memorial Plaza ceremony to conclude the event.

3. Larchmont Sidewalk Sale (6/2)

  • The 3Bs – Blues Night at the Elks (Ossining): The 3Bs feature “a blend of Blues from classics to contemporary, soulful to sinful.” Created in 2021, the 3Bs includes drummer “Big Bad” Bill Votava, bassist Kevin Brail, lead vocalist Elle Randall, second vocalist Alyssa Pic, guitarist David “Diamond Dave” Rinaldi, and keyboardist Erin Weisenfeld. The double set begins at 7:30 p.m.

  • Early Native American Life at Historic Purdy House (White Plains): On May 28, 1830, Congress passed the Indian Removal Act, beginning the forced relocation of thousands of Native Americans in what became known as the Trail of Tears. The event at Purdy House, which is run by the White Plains Historical Society, gives guests a glimpse at daily Native American life before permanent European settlement. See key artifacts, including bark baskets, cups, bowls, stone axes, spoons, bows and arrows, animal pelts, and leather. The event begins at 1 p.m. and is free. Registration is required.
