🎵 PRELUDE: Happier

“Happier,” a collaboration between Hudson Valley songwriters Christine Chanel and Dan Zlotnick, is a powerful and beautiful song about love and heartbreak.

Christine Chanel is an indie soul-pop singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Westchester, New York. With genres ranging from rhythm and blues to reggae, rock, pop, and funk, she delivers powerful vocals with resonant hooks and emotionally charged lyrics.

Chanel has made appearances at the 2018 Pleasantville Music Festival and many renowned music venues throughout the NY Tri-State area such as Tarrytown Music Hall, Rockwood Music Hall, The Bitter End, Garcia’s, The Colony, Bearsville Theater, and Arlene’s Grocery. She will be releasing her freshman album with The Roster called “True Crimes” at the end of this month. The Roster includes Peter Santelmo (guitar), Manny Reyes (guitar), Ryan Datino (guitar), Zac Vanacoro (bass), Michael P. Cesario (drums), and Zach Marks (drums).

The public is invited to the “True Crimes” album release party and a live performance at Lucy’s in Pleasantville, NY on Saturday, May 28th.
