Twigs Thriftree Thrift Shop to Reopen; Will Accept Credit Cards
The Twigs Thriftree Thrift Shop, located at 449 Lexington Ave. in Mount Kisco, will reopen for business on Monday, Aug. 25 after its annual summer hiatus.
As of its reopening, the shop will accept credit cards – Visa, Mastercard and Discover. This is an exciting innovation and promises to be a benefit to our loyal customers, who can also now visit us on Facebook at Twigs of Northern Westchester Hospital or at our new website at www.twigsofnwh.org. “Like” us on Facebook to receive notices of our sale events.
The hours remain the same: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Wednesday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fall clothing and shoes will be featured.
Currently in its 51st year of operation, the shop features gently-used clothing for adults and children, house wares and small furniture items, jewelry, shoes and handbags, books and collectibles. Donations are appreciated and can be made by appointment at 914-666-6557.
Twigs is a nonprofit organization of volunteers dedicated to raising funds for Northern Westchester Hospital, principally by operating the Thrift Shop. They also make comfort items for patients.
