Police Urge Caution after Bear Sighting in Yorktown

The Yorktown Police Department is urging resident to use caution after receiving reports of a bear sighting on Hanover Street, in the area of Butler Court and Birdsall Drive, Friday.
Residents are being asked to stay alert when outdoors in the area. Police warn do not approach the bear if sighted. Police officers are in the area investigating.
