County Police/Mount Kisco

Dec. 9: Officers responded to a parking area behind 15 S. Moger Ave. at 1:15 a.m. on a report of a fight involving a woman and two of her son’s ex-girlfriends. The parties involved said a verbal and physical altercation had occurred but no one wanted to press charges. The group was dispersed and left in their vehicles.

Dec. 9: A 49-year-old Bedford Hills man was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, following a traffic stop at 2:54 a.m. on South Croton Avenue at the Saw Mill River Parkway. An officer had observed the vehicle cross the double yellow lane on East Main Street prior to the traffic stop. The driver was booked at the Green Street precinct and released pending a Dec. 21 appearance in Mount Kisco Justice Court.

Dec. 10: A 44-year-old Chappaqua woman was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor, after store security at Target on North Bedford Road detained her for leaving the store without paying for $195 worth of merchandise. She was booked at the Green Street precinct and released pending a Jan. 4 appearance in Mount Kisco Justice Court.

Dec. 12: A village resident arrived at the Green Street precinct at 4:05 p.m. to report that he has been receiving harassing text messages from a relative. The matter was turned over to a detective for continued investigation.

Dec. 14: A complaint was received at 9:12 a.m. regarding an illegally parked vehicle on private property on Pat Reilly Way. The vehicle was towed.

Dec. 14: Officers responded to Parkview Place at 1:51 p.m. on a report that a man had fallen in the street and was bleeding from a head wound. The man told officers he was raking leaves when he slipped and struck the curb. He was taken by the Mount Kisco Volunteer Ambulance Corps to Northern Westchester Hospital.

North Castle Police Department

Dec. 8: A Limestone Road resident reported at 9:42 a.m. that her ring camera caught what appeared to be two males wearing hoodies and masks in her driveway at about 3 a.m. this morning pulling on the door handles of both vehicles in her driveway, then running away from the home. The doors to both of her vehicles were locked and no property was taken or damaged.

Dec. 9: A Bedford Police Department dispatcher transferred a call at 9:24 a.m., reporting that a delivery truck driver is stuck inside a walk-in refrigerator at a restaurant on Bedford Banksville Road. An employee had let him in the restaurant and then the refrigerator; however, when the door shut, he was unable to get out despite banging on the door. The responding officers reported that the party was able to get out of the refrigerator.

Dec. 11: Report of a down tree completely blocking Byram Lake Road at 6:37 a.m. The North Castle Highway Department was notified and cleared the tree from the roadway.

Dec. 13: A caller reported at 2:09 a.m. observing an intoxicated party attempting to get into her vehicle on Bedford Banksvill Road. The intoxicated party was described as a white female wearing a blue sweatshirt with dirty blond hair. One of the responding officers advised that they were able to get in contact with the brother-in-law of the intoxicated party, who agreed to come pick her up and transport her home.

Pleasantville Police Department

Dec. 12: A Manville Road business reported at 10:59 a.m. suspicious financial activity regarding one of its accounts. The business was advised by their bank to make a report to police.

Dec. 13: Report of a crime in progress on Vermilyea Street at 5:22 p.m. Police did not divulge any details because of the ongoing investigation.

White Plains Police Department

Dec. 8: A man was charged with second-degree assault at 11:53 p.m. in connection with an incident in an apartment on Mitchell Place.

Dec. 10: A male suspect was arrested at 10:28 a.m. and charged with third-degree assault and second-degree menacing stemming from an incident on East Post Road.

Dec. 10: A man was arrested at 11 p.m. and charged with second-degree assault in connection with an offense in a Martine Avenue apartment.

Dec. 11: A man was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery on West Post Road at 1:24 a.m.

Dec. 12: Following an investigation at City Place, a man was arrested and charged at 6:25 p.m. with first-degree robbery.

Dec. 15: Police charged a man with criminal possession of a weapon on West Post Road at 11:46 a.m.

Yorktown Police Department

 Dec. 8: Two Flushing, Queens residents, a 35-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, were arrested and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and petty larceny at 6:06 p.m. for allegedly stealing several bottles of perfume from Macy’s in the Jefferson Valley Mall.
