The nominees for the Putnam County Chambers of Commerce’s inaugural 40 Under 40 Trailblazers awards met up with the judges, local officials and one another during a social held at Arturo’s Tavern in Mahopac on Monday, Jan. 7.

“It has been so long since I have been to a networking event where I go an opportunity to see new faces,” said nominee Jamie Imperati, founder and president of the Professional Women of Putnam. “Having this opportunity to not only meet with the judges but other up and coming professionals who I have not met before is fabulous.”

Joining Imperati as a nominee are 55 other young professionals.

“This has been really difficult,” said former Legislator Vincent Tamagna of Nelsonville, who is the incoming president of the Cold Spring Chamber of Commerce. “Everyone looks so incredible on paper. It is great to be able to meet these extraordinary candidates in person.”

The 40 Under 40 Trailblazers will be honored at Villa Barone in Mahopac on Friday, Jan. 25 beginning at 6 p.m.

Tickets and sponsorships are still available. For more information visit Putnamchamberny.org.
