Holiday Celebrations, Tree Lightings This Weekend

The Christmas tree outside the Horace Greeley House will be one of three area lightings and celebrations this weekend.

Friday, Nov. 30

Mount Kisco Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony. Presented by the Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce. Followed by cookies and cocoa across the street at the American Legion Hall. Mount Kisco Village Hall, 104 E. Main St., Mount Kisco. 6 p.m. Free. Info: 914-666-7525 or email MtKiscoChamber@aol.com.

Saturday, Dec. 1

Downtown Chappaqua Holiday Stroll and Christmas Celebration. Includes a Holiday Crafts and Open House at the Greeley House, 100 King St., Chappaqua. 1 to 4 p.m. ; the Chappaqua Orchestra’s sing-a-long at Robert E. Bell Middle School, 50 Senter St., Chappaqua, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.; and the Greeley House tree lighting at 4:30 p.m. Also, there will be the downtown stroll for shopping and treats at the community center. All events are free.

Sunday, Dec. 2

North Castle Community Center Inaugural Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony. Pictures with Santa, refreshments, tree lighting and carols with the holiday choir. North Castle Community Center, 10 Clove Rd., North White Plains. 6 to 8 p.m. Free. RSVP (for planning purposes): email ccoop116@aol.com.
