Chappaqua Cleaners & Tailors Owner Passes Away

John Magnotta, owner of Chappaqua Cleaners & Tailors, has passed away at 79. He died at Northern Westchester Restorative Therapy and Nursing Center on Aug. 31. Magnotta was battling brain cancer.
A Mahopac resident, Magnotta is survived by his six children, Toni, John, Joseph, Maria and Christina of Mahopac and Tracey of Yorktown Heights. He is also survived by his granddaughter Samantha and his one remaining sister, Grace. He is predeceased by his wife Frances as well as a brother, George, and sister, Mary.
