This is in response to Robert Liebman’s letter to the editor in the Jan. 2 edition. (“Despite Continued Denial, Threat of Climate Catastrophe Remains Real”)

What did Joe Biden do the first day in office? In case you forgot, he signed seven executive orders undoing all the good that President Trump did in his four-year term to make our country safer and stronger. Speak about a dictator!

As for climate change, the ideal percentage for plant life to exist, according to the site climate.mit.edu, is around .028 percent. We are now around .04 percent. If we lower that number by much, plant life will not be sustainable. If you want to help the CO2 concentration, plant more trees. Take a look at this site, it gives you a visual of climate change http://www.longrangeweather.com/global_temperatures.htm.

If the climate is warming at such an alarming rate and the seas are going to rise by 10 to 30 feet, then why are Obama, Biden and so many other elites buying waterfront property? No, that’s all a lie perpetrated by the Dems and elites to get us onto solar and wind power and into electric vehicles. Those three things will do more to damage our environment than the renewable oil and gas fuels.

My wife and I drive cross country from New York to Arizona twice a year in our RV, and across the Midwest see thousands of used wind turbine blades just lying in fields because there is currently no way to recycle them. The same is the case for used solar panels and EV batteries. They’re hazardous waste.

No, don’t try to blame this on President Trump and the Republicans. Place the blame squarely where it belongs, with the Democrats who are pushing this entire climate change agenda.
