Raveis Real Estate Celebrates New Office in Yorktown
The top family-owned real estate firm in the Northeast and the third largest in the United States celebrated the opening of its newest office in Yorktown last week.
A ribbon cutting ceremony attended by Yorktown officials and local agents at 1820 Commerce Street officially marked the 11th real estate office in New York State for William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage & Insurance.
“The New York marketplace is robust and quickly growing,” William Raveis said in a statement. “We’re thrilled to be expanding our presence here, and we look forward to growing our New York team even more. Our new offices continue to attract exceptionally successful agents, and we couldn’t be happier than to start our new Yorktown office with such an amazing, talented team.”
Doris Ellias, sales manager for the Yorktown office, said the firm specializes in upscale housing and expects a busy end to 2013.
“Yorktown has a very good reputation, especially with people from southern Westchester,” she said. “They know Yorktown has very good schools and nice shopping here. It’s a good central location to north and to the south.”
Diane and Bob Arenholz recently joined the William Raveis Real Estate team after 17 years selling homes in the area.
“They’re the only agency we would have left for,” Diane Arenholz said. “They are one step ahead of everyone else.”
