We are part of The Trust Project

Two days before the 10th anniversary of September 11th, the City of White Plains will hold a commemorative service honoring the six White Plains residents killed in the attacks.

The service will be held in Liberty Park at the permanent 9/11 memorial on Friday, Sept. 9 at 7 p.m., Mayor Tom Roach announced. The city also invited police, firefighters, EMS workers and members of the armed forces who live or work in White Plains to come a half hour earlier and be part of the city’s Line of Honor.

White Plains residents Sharon Balkcom, Marisa DiNardo, Hemanth Kumar Puttur, Joe Riverso, Gregory E. Rodriguez and Linda Sheehan died in the September 11, 2001 attacks.
