We are part of The Trust Project

WHEN: Saturday 22, 2018, Start times every 15 minutes from 8:30 a.m. 9:30 a.m. (runners need to be there 1 hour before their start time.) Kids Dash at 10 a.m.

WHAT:  Hundreds of weekend warriors will show off their skills traversing giant mud pits, a fire tower and scaling cargo nets in a test of agility, strength and endurance to raise funds for the Joel A. Halpern Regional Trauma Center.

The Evan Lieberman Westchester Medical Center Trauma Mud Run is a 5K foot race in which participants traverse over, under and through a series of challenging obstacles including tire swings, cargo nets, a fire tower, running streams, a giant mud pit and more. It is an important fundraiser for Westchester Medical Center’s Joel A. Halpern Regional Trauma Center and Burn Center. The Level I trauma and burn care services offered by Westchester Medical Center are the only programs of its kind in the region. They are a lifeline for the Hudson Valley’s most seriously burned and injured residents.

*Fun for children (and their parents!): A special Kids’ Dash heat will step off at 10:00 a.m. for participants under the age of 13. The Kids’ Dash course will be shorter and less challenging than the adult course, but just as muddy!

WHERE: Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital on the campus of Westchester Medical Center at 100 Woods Road in Valhalla, NY. The Oval.

WHO: Hundreds of participants, families and children supporting Westchester Medical Center.
