Vote Flom, Rajabzadeh in Chappaqua, True Advocates for Education

We are part of The Trust Project

I am a Chappaqua Central School District alum, a parent of four children in grades K, 2, 5 and 7. I teach in a local district, serve on my school’s Emergency Response Team and I am a member of the CPTA. Excellence, equity and safety for every student is the only way to move forward for our district. We are raising our future! The values we hold and the experiences our children have shape who they are and influence who they will become.

Beret Flom and Shokoofeh Rajabzadeh are the most qualified candidates for the Board of Education. They can help move us toward achieving a reality where ALL students and teachers are heard, seen and valued. Beret and Shokoofeh have taken the time to truly show up for and understand the needs of the district. They know that teachers should be respected and treated as professionals, experts in their field. They know that teachers need to be thoughtfully recruited, supported, trained and retained. Beret and Shokoofeh are knowledgeable about the issues our schools face. They understand that managing the budget involves nuance, research and the ability to listen to community members.

Excellence is seeing, reaching and connecting with every child and family, helping every child feel a sense of belonging. We need to help our children thrive in their K-12 experience and prepare them for what comes after. ALL students and ALL teachers should feel a sense of belonging, pride and achievement. We are not there yet, but our administration is listening.
