More than 60 athletes competed in the Yorktown Teen Center’s second annual Hoops Challenge on Friday, Feb. 11. The three point contest, co-sponsored with Solaris, was divided into three divisions: middle school, high school and adult.

The winner of the middle school division was Joey Costella. Nick DeGennaro and Trever Bocion were finalists. The high school division winner was Tristan Friedman.

Finalists in the high school division were Stephen Napolitano and Aaron Schumer. The three rounds of the adult division each had a three-way tie and needed to be extended to a fourth round. One basket separated the contestants. Alex Rodriguez won the adult division with Greg Gammer and Rob Steinberg as finalists.
