Attendees of the “open house” style event can play table tennis all day for free at the center, which is managed by Robert Roberts, one of the top players in the country, and owned by Will Shortz, who is also editor of The New York Times’ crossword puzzle.

Special festivities will be announced in the months leading up to the event.

Paddles, balls and beverages will be provided. The center is located at 175 Tompkins Avenue in Pleasantville.

Examiner Media publishes The Examiner, which serves Pleasantville and the surrounding area, as well as The Northern Westchester Examiner, The White Plains Examiner and The Putnam Examiner. The company also operates this website, TheExaminerNews.com.
