Pleasantville All-Day Community Blood Drive on Monday

We are part of The Trust Project

Pleasantville merchants are providing gifts, coupons and raffle items for blood donors who participate in an all-day blood drive sponsored by  Pleasantville High School and Pleasantville Volunteer Ambulance Corps on Monday, May 5 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Pleasantville High School, located at 60 Romer Ave.

The drive is timed to help boost supplies and avoid shortages during the summer. Red cells units will also be collected from qualifying candidates.  To make the event even more special, a group of students from Bedford Road School will be assisting at the drive between 3 and 5 p.m. as part of Little Docs, a program to instill civic responsibility.

To sign up, call 1-800-933-2566 or send an email to PleasantvilleEcho@gmail.com. For donation questions, call 1-800-688-0900. Although it is helpful to let the organizers know in advance that you plan to come, walk-ins are accepted.
