The City of White Plains held its annual Memorial Day Parade Monday, with participants marching from the White Plains Public Library to the Rural Cemetery on North Broadway. Veterans posts, Boy Scout and Girl Scout units, the White Plains High School Marching Band and several other local organizations took part, with Lt. Col Richard J. Bordonaro of the U.S. Marine Corps serving as the Grand Marshall. After the parade, a service was held at the cemetery.
