Photographs of Pets Sought for Special Art Exhibit

We are part of The Trust Project

Whether your pet is furry, feathered, reptilian, or has fins, The Studio Around the Corner is looking for photographs, paintings, sculptures, and drawings of your animal companions for its November art show entitled “Animal Magnetism”.  The Studio is run by the Town of Southeast Cultural Arts Coalition and is located in the Village of Brewster at 67 Main St, Ste 101, in the Old Town Hall.

At the show, The Studio will be collecting donations of pet food for Forgotten Felines and Putnam Humane Society in appreciation of the work of these organizations.

“Animal Magnetism” will consist of 25 pieces.  The show is open to both professionals and non-professionals and anyone who would like to share images of their animal friends.

Community members may submit up to three images via email to curator, Dawn Willis, at lilaccottage39@comcast.net by Friday, Oct. 19.  Those submitting photos should include their phone number to be used if their photo is selected, which will entail a $10 hanging fee.

The Studio invites everyone to visit the exhibition which will be held on Nov. 16, 17, 30 and Dec. 1.
