Mount Kisco Child Care Center Launches Spring Challenge Grant

We are part of The Trust Project

Mount Kisco Child Care Center (MKCCC) announces the launch of its Spring Challenge Grant, now through May 31. Families, current donors, and members of the community are invited to contribute to the center.

During this period, all monetary contributions received by the center will be matched by MKCCC Board Member, Founder of the Saw Mill Club, and Co-Founder of Curtis Instruments, Dr. Curtis Beusman. The center’s goal to raise $25,000 will be doubled by Dr. Beusman’s contributions bringing the total amount to $50,000.

“We are honored by Dr. Beusman’s generosity,” said MKCCC Executive Director, Dottie Jordan. “We thank him for his steadfast support throughout the month of May as well as for his contributions to the Center since he joined the Board in 2009.”

Funds raised through the challenge will be allocated toward the Center’s Scholarship Initiative. Well known in the community for its quality childcare, MKCCC provides tuition assistance to children in need would not otherwise be able to enroll. Children are able to participate in the Center’s award-winning, innovative programming, while allowing parents to find employment and feel confident their children are cared for in a safe and nurturing environment.

Mount Kisco Child Care Center is a licensed nonprofit, non-sectarian NAEYC accredited childcare facility that has served the working families of Northern Westchester since 1971. MKCCC provides exceptional and affordable, early-care and education to a diverse group of children three months to five years. The Center’s expanded school-age program serves children up to 12 years of age.

“Mount Kisco Child Care Center is an unbelievable organization that continues to impress me,” said Dr. Beusman. “From its forward-thinking programs to its personable staff and teachers, the Center is a fixture in the community.”
