Lowey Reacts to Attempt on Colleagues’ Life
As news of the Arizona shooting rampage gripped the nation today, Congresswoman Nita Lowey reacted to the attempt on her House colleagues’ life.
Lowey said Rep. Gabrielle Giffords “is a warm and spirited woman and a dedicated and hardworking representative.”
“My thoughts and prayers are with Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and her family, staff, and constituents following today’s act of senseless violence in Arizona,” Lowey also remarked. “I am heartsick about the fatalities and injuries resulting from this unconscionable attack. It is all the more tragic that she was targeted while working on behalf of her constituents.”
