A New Year’s resolution I intend to keep is to help elect George Latimer to Congress.
Westchester deserves someone who shows up ready to do the work. One need not look hard to see what George has accomplished for the taxpayers in Westchester over his decades of public service, including property tax cuts. George also fights for truthfulness and transparency in government, and that is what we need!
You cannot truly understand a community need without immersing yourself in that community, and George has done just that over the years. Streets fairs, neighborhood block parties, birthday celebrations, community forums, parades, and the list goes on. George goes to all of them, and if you have a question or concern, he will listen and always follows up.
By championing initiatives for Westchester that go beyond rhetoric and symbolism, George is actively working to ensure the integrity of our democratic process. In the face of challenges to our democracy both at home and abroad, George’s call to focus on the true purpose of government – to improve the lives of its citizens – is a rallying cry that should resonate with us all.
I hope you will join me in sending George Latimer to Congress in 2024.
