Artwork of Lakeland Students Shown at Jefferson Valley Mall

We are part of The Trust Project

Student artwork from the students at Lakeland Central School District will be on display through Sunday, May 22 at the Jefferson Valley Mall.

At the grand opening held on Monday, student musicians from both Waler Panas High School and Lakeland High School performed in the center court of the mall.

The student artwork is on display throughout the mall on both the first and second floors. Additional work, including three-dimensional art, can be found in two store fronts on the second floor near Sears.

The Jefferson Valley Mall  has hosted the annual student showcase for over 25 years. Students from Lakeland High School and Walter Panas High School participate.

“The show gives community an opportunity to view the magnificent work that our students create in their art classes. It communicates the outstanding talent of both the students and the art department staff,” said Lakeland’s Superintendent of Schools Dr. George Stone.
