LaDuca Automotive Service is hoping to be granted a permit to sell used cars.

If Vincent LaDuca gets his way, car repairs won’t be the only things being offered at LaDuca Automotive Service.

LaDuca is looking to sell used cars at his Depew Street property, located right off the Saw Mill Parkway. The village board would have to grant him a special permit to sell the used cars, which would be renewable after two years.

After two years, LaDuca would have to show that he’s in compliance of all the conditions placed on him in order for the permit to be renewed.

Currently in the A-1 district, a new or used cars facility is allowed to have a repair spot as an accessory use, but having a repair shop sell used cars as an accessory is not permitted.

LaDuca has said that it would be discreet and that there is an area in the back of the property where he would sell the cars. Currently, that area is used for storage.
