A Kent woman was arrested Tuesday for grand larceny after allegedly finding a credit card and using it to buy clothing at Kohl’s Department store, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Linda McTighe, 49, faces fourth-degree grand larceny charges after investigators say on March 12 she found a credit card in front of the Home Depot in Southeast, where she worked, and headed to Kohl’s to buy $171.18 of clothing, according to a release from the sheriff’s office. McTighe then returned to Home Depot and turned the credit card over to store officials, the sheriff’s office reported.

McTighe surrendered to the sheriff’s office and was released without bail pending an April 7 appearance in Southeast Justice Court. If convicted, she faces up to four years in prison.
