Greenburgh Democrats Join Other Committees in Supporting Latimer

As chair of the Greenburgh Democratic Committee, I want to report that our party’s Executive Committee voted in February to endorse George Latimer for Congress in the 16th Congressional District. George has served us well for decades in public office, currently as Westchester County Executive, and the members felt strongly he would do an outstanding job for us in the U.S. Congress.
Our action joins the grassroots support George has received with endorsements of the Democratic committees of Rye City, Harrison, Scarsdale, Mamaroneck Town, Yonkers, Pelham, White Plains, Eastchester and Rye Town as well.
The Democratic primary will be held on Tuesday, June 25. Petitioning continues through Apr. 4.
