Furio to URI and Morrison Already Has Two D-1 College Offers

Stepinac senior wide receiver Giancarlo Furio has committed to attend the University of Rhode Island next season. Furio was selected to the All-CHSFL Team last season and is an Honor Student at Stepinac Furio will join teammate Dwayne Scott, the 2014 Catholic High School Lineman of the Year, on the Division 1 Rams, who participate in the Colonial Athletic Association. Furio also entertained offers from Wagner College, Stetson University, Assumption College and St. Anselm College, before choosing to attend URI. Also in high school football recruiting news, Crusaders junior running back Terrell Morrison is already exciting recruiters this football offseason. Morrison has already been offered two full football-scholarships to NCAA Division 1 colleges. Morrison is considering offers from the University of Buffalo in Mid-American Conference and Bucknell University of the Patriot League. Furio, Scott and Morrison were all members of the Crusaders 2014 CHSFL AAA Championship Team.
