Do-Nothing House of Reps Fail to Address Nation’s Pressing Issues

I have recently returned to Somers following a rehabbing tour after a bad fall.
Much to my chagrin, the country has taken a hard turn to the right led by the former President and his acolytes.
The U.S. has been a haven for those escaping fascism, and my grandparents left Eastern Europe to escape pogroms and the Nazis. Today, the MAGA movement has echoes of the America First movement, led by none other than Charles Lindbergh and Henry Ford. This feeling about isolationism keeps coming back and is very dangerous. The do-nothing House of Representatives has prevented the U.S. from providing aid and assistance to our allies who are facing powerful forces.
In addition, the House demurs on a bill intended to fix the southern border.
What incompetence. We cannot stand idly by and must vote for pro-democratic candidates.
