The Bedford Playhouse will host a screening of Rebirth on Sept. 11.

The Bedford Playhouse is scheduled to hold a a free community screening of Rebirth in honor of the 9/11 terror attacks on Tues., Sept. 11 starting at 7 p.m. Following the screening, Bedford Playhouse Board Chair Sarah Long will host a Q&A session with her husband and producer, David Solomon.

Released in 2011, Rebirth was filmed over the ensuing years after the September 11 attack on New York’s World Trade Center. The documentary tracks the lives of five people who were profoundly impacted by the attacks.

“Each individual sits with the filmmakers year after year updating them on their lives, states of mind and struggles to come to terms with their anger and grief — and their emotional healing process in the aftermath of such a tragedy,” a press release stated.

To make reservations, interested parties can email RSVP@bedfordplayhouse.org or call (914) 867-3051.
