Arctic Gray Wolf to Visit Pace This Friday

Atka, an Arctic gray wolf.

The N.A.T.U.R.E. Club at Pace University in Pleasantville will be hosting Atka the wolf on Friday.

Atka, an Arctic gray wolf from the Wolf Conservation Center in South Salem, will be at Setter’s Café in the Kessel Student Center at Pace at 6 p.m. The free event is aimed at teaching local residents the importance of wolves to the ecosystem and to humans.

Atka, an ambassador wolf that travels to schools, museums, nature centers and libraries throughout the Northeast, will be at Reis Park in Somers on Thursday, April 21 at 1:30 p.m.
