Annual Circus Coming to Westchester This Weekend
Every year, around President’s Day, the Westchester County Center in White Plains becomes a fun-filled place of sunshine in the middle of the dreary winter with the visit of the Royal Hanneford Circus. Last year, nearly 18,000 “kids of all ages” were entertained by the Royal Hanneford Circus.
This year, the tradition continues when the Royal Hanneford Circus makes its’ 38th annual visit to the Westchester County Center with an all new group of spectacular entertainers providing chills and thrills, fun and laughter for the entire family.
The 2013 edition of the Royal Hanneford Circus will perform nine Shows over President’s Day Weekend February 16, 17 and 18. Show times are 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. each day.
Ringmaster Extraordinaire, Billy Martin, will orchestrate the three rings of animals and acrobats, mayhem and madness, and Special Guest Star Grandma the Clown. This year’s line-up of extraordinary International Circus Stars includes Rage in the Cage Tigers, Motorcycle Madness on the High Wire, everyone’s favorite canine performers, performing bears, The A & A Duo and their amazing feats of strength and endurance, The Hanneford Elephants, The Whirling Wheel of Destiny, The Amazing Costume Quick Change plus High Flyers, Acrobats Supreme and The Funniest Grandma around!
Tickets to the Royal Hanneford Circus are available at the Westchester County Center Box Office, 198 Central Park Avenue, White Plains. Box Office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The County Center phone is (914) 995-4050. Tickets are also available from TicketMaster and ticketmaster.com. Service charges apply. Groups of 20 or more should call the County Center for information on the group discount.
