Cupcakes Care at The Ritz in Westchester

We are part of The Trust Project

The Ritz-Carlton in Westchester is harnessing the do-good power of the cupcake.

The Cupcakes that Care program, now in its third season, helps raise money for local non-profit organizations that have been hand-picked by the staff at the hotel.

This season’s cupcake, the “Spring Fling,” celebrates the return of the spring season with orange-scented, cake-filled cupcakes with juicy mandarin oranges, topped with vanilla bean butter cream. It is decorated with bright flowers also made of butter cream.

“We are pleased that a portion of proceeds from our Spring Fling cupcakes will benefit Friends of Westchester County Parks,” said Jacqueline Sanders, general manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester. “It’s a great organization that does wonderful work that enables us all to enjoy the beauty of Westchester County.”

Cupcakes that Care cost $3.50 each, with 50 cents going to charity. They are on sale in The Lounge at the hotel on Friday evenings during Crème de la Crème Cupcake Night.

For cupcake-lovers craving the treat during the rest of the week, call the hotel’s main number, 914-946-5500, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. to place an order.

The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester features 146 luxury rooms, an award-winning spa with a rooftop pool and a fitness center and a 500-person ballroom, among other amenities. In addition, the hotel offers BLT Steak, located on the ground floor and Restaurant “42,” on the 42nd floor.
