If you’re looking for a great deli with home style cooking there is a perfect place for you in Brewster. Frangelina’s Deli and Café located at 3867 Danbury road in the Border Shopping Plaza is the place to be.

Owner Frank Soccodato started his business about six or seven months ago on July of last year. He is looking forward to the incredible business that will follow his tremendous achievements with his Italian deli.

“There aren’t many real Italian delis around this area and I wanted to create my own Italian deli and the opportunity came about and I did it.” Soccodato said. He wanted to bring a part of little Italy into his deli and he made it possible. He brought in a lot of stuff that you would see in the village of little Italy like Pellegrino and it is different from all of the other Italian delis around the Brewster area that you would see.

“We make everything home style nothing is jarred, to the point where I make my own sauce, fresh mozzarella, fresh gelato and home style cheesecake,” Soccadato said.  There are even about six tables to sit and relax to enjoy your full cooked meal. The menu goes from breakfast beagles, to lunch, wedges and heroes, to the various choices for diner and then comes the famous homemade cheesecake for desert.

“We get a lot of complements saying our food is like their grandmother used to make because everything is from scratch,” Soccadato said.

If your ever missing your grandmothers cooking you know exactly where to find it if you are passing by Brewster. There are no other locations yet but in the future Soccodato will definitely try to expand his business.

Soccodato is looking forward to the next few months for his business to sky rocket because in the summer there are a lot of people who come in to get breakfast and lunch. Which seem to be his busiest part of the day for people to come in and enjoy his food that he creates from scratch.

Catering as well as customized meals are available if you call in advance.  Soccadato and his staff are willing to see what they can do for you to get the best meal possible.

Frangelina’s Deli and Café is open Monday-Friday 6 am – 5 pm, Saturday from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. and they are closed on Sundays. Frangelina’s Deli and Café is in the Border Shopping Plaza on 3867 Danbury Rd. in Brewster New York. The number to reach them at is (845) 279-7799.
