We are part of The Trust Project

The Putnam County Department of Health flu vaccine clinic, originally scheduled for Wednesday, has been pushed to Jan. 18.

The clinic is for anyone six months or older. The clinic will be held from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Health Department, located at 1 Geneva Road in Brewster. Anyone who works or lives in New York State is eligible, though children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent.

The DOH encourages those interested to complete consent forms ahead of time. The forms are available at www.putnamcountyny.com.

The flu vaccines contain three strains, including the H1N1 virus. No appointment or prescription is necessary. For more information, visit the Putnam County web site or call (845) 808-1390.
