Independence Day Fireworks and Celebration, Tuesday, July 2

FireworksThe City of White Plains Annual Independence Day Celebration will take place at White Plains High School on North Street. The event is free. Fireworks presentation to follow welcoming of the flag. Motown music from Total Soul on center stage. Entertainment in the Kids Corner from Squeaky Clean, the Animal Embassy, the Miz Liz variety show, the Spinning Bee Frisbee Showcase, Goowins Balloons and the Nimham Mountain Native Americans. Inflatable rides offered for $2 each. Lots of food, including soul food, pizza, fried dough, burgers and more! $1 ice cream provided by sponsor Ben & Jerry’s. Residents are encouraged to come early, bring blankets and chairs and enjoy a fun-filled evening of music, games, entertainers, food and fireworks. Rain date scheduled for the same hours on Wednesday, July 3rd.
