Just wanted to let you know that our deck show went very well. Our last customer of the day on Sunday came in and told us that she read The Examiner at 4:46 pm on Sunday,  saw our ad, woke her husband up from a nap to come down and put a $3,000 deposit on a 1,500 square foot deck. I love it when advertising pays off like that!!

Katherine Quinn, Executive Director, Support Connection

People want to know what is going on in their community. They also want to patronize local businesses who are involved with the community. Examiner Media newspapers are great vehicles for getting the word out in both areas. I highly recommend advertising with them. Support Connection is able to reach many people in need of our breast and ovarian cancer support services because of them. Spend your money wisely and advertise with the Examiner.

Glam Star Mobile Pet Grooming

Right off the bat my first ad brought in 13 new clients who were not aware of the service I provide .
I plan on advertising with the Examiner on a regular basis from now on. I’m very happy with the results.

Mount Kisco Medical Group:

“Mount Kisco Medical Group has definitely benefited from advertising in The Examiner. With the different editions, we are able to reach patients and potential patients in Putnam and Westchester Counties. The Examiner is a GREAT paper with GREAT people behind it!”

Funtime Amusements:

“We want to thank you… The advertisement we placed got GREAT RESPONSES. Phones were ringing and people stopped by, parties were booked. Definitely going to do this again. WHAT A WAY TO START THE NEW YEAR!!”

Bel D’oro Jewelers:

“Whenever we run an ad with The Examiner, we always get a good response.”

Oliver’s Restaurant:

“Just a quick note to thank you for your papers. Great results in bringing our restaurant many new guests. As we are local and draw  mostly from a five mile radius, your papers are a perfect way for us to reach our neighbors.”

Michael’s Garden Gate Nursery:

“For our 1 cent sale we dropped other media and put all of our advertising dollars withThe Examiner. We are very happy with the results and will continue to use The Examiner as our primary media vehicle.”

“We would like to acknowledge the numerous inquiries and subsequent registration of new students that were the direct result of the ads we ran in the paper, proving the Examiner to be an influential print medium throughout Westchester.”

Thornwood Wines:

“We are very pleased with the results of our holiday advertising. People brought in the ad as they did their shopping. We plan on increasing our advertising with The Examiner in the upcoming year.”

Professional Handyman Service:

“I have had great success with Examiner advertising. I have built my entire Putnam & Westchester customer base using The Examiner for all my advertising. When I moved to this area 4 years ago I began my advertising campaign with them and my phone immediately started ringing. People always mention that they saw my ad in The Examiner and also tell me how much they enjoy the paper.”

Examiner Reader Dennis da Costa:

“Were it not for The Examiner, I wouldn’t have a full picture of what is going on in the Pleasantville-Mount Pleasant area—so advertisers, take note: The Examiner is relevant, reaches lots of local residents and is a great advertising vehicle..
Bottom line: The Examiner is an integral part of our community—we need it and we read it. Local businesses, please support The Examiner. And readers, let’s be sure to let businesses who advertise here know that “We saw you in The Examiner!” It’s our way of saying “Thanks!””

VINO 100 Wine Shop:

“Having advertised with The [White Plains] Examiner for the past six months I have been very happy. The newspaper is specifically targeted to local residents, and this has helped fuel sales and create a loyal customer base.”

The Academy of Our Lady of Good Counsel:

“The Examiner is our ‘go to’ paper for local news that is personal, positive and precise. It brings the community together and gives the Big White Plains City, a Small Town feel. The Examiner highlights student successes whether it be leadership, academics, athletics, or service. Adults, students (and their grandparents) look for the Examiner on Tuesdays to see who made the news this week!! It is fun to check out what Stepinac and White Plains High School are up to. As a principal, it is a great way to see what’s going on in the city and in the City Hall.”

Gina Nuccetelli, Real Estate Agent Better Homes & Garden Rand Realty:

“Placing the ad definitely generated more activity at the open house than I had anticipated.  We had placed ads in other publications several weeks earlier for that same property ….and not one person showed up! We had a good deal of activity as a result of our ad with the Examiner so it was definitely worth it!”

Father Thomas Collins, President, Archbishop Stepinac High School:

“As an integral part of the White Plains community, Archbishop Stepinac High School  looks to The White Plains Examiner to learn more about what is happening in this exciting and diverse place we call home. Since it began publishing, The White Plains Examiner has also proven to be a highly effective media outlet to let the community know about the initiatives our school has been undertaking–from facilities improvements to academic program expansion–to help assure Stepinac will remain one of the nation’s top 50 Catholic high schools in the years ahead.”

Camel Video Yorktown Heights:

“Since I started advertising with Examiner Media in March, the results have superseded my expectations. Most advertising experiences I have had in the past require repeated advertising in order to obtain success. The results from the Examiner newspapers have been great from day one. The staff I have interacted with have also been great. They are cooperative, efficient and aware of my needs as a retailer.”

Ballard-Durand Funeral & Cremation Services:

“I’m glad I have chosen your newspaper for my advertising and I appreciate all that you have done to help me promote my business. Advertising in The Examiner has been one of my better business decisions. I’ve gotten more compliments and family inquiries from The Examiner story and ads I’ve run than any other newspaper, postcards or anything else I’ve ever done. I’ve always felt that consistent advertising works and this is proof of that. Once again I thank you for the success from the ads I’ve placed in your newspaper.”

Yorktown Pet, Yorktown

Recently I placed an ad in the Examiner’s Easter promotion. My Account Executive came up with a very funny, cute ad. I got a great response from the ad and a lot of phone calls. The Examiner team is very creative and easy to work with.
