National Night Out. “Giving Crime & Drugs a Going Away Party” 6 to 9 p.m., Public Safety Headquarters, 77 S. Lexington Avenue, White Plains. Open house and safety fair, live band, free giveaways. National Night Out promotes awareness, safety and neighborhood unity. It showcases the vital importance of police-community partnerships and citizen involvement in building a safer city.
