The Child Abuse Prevention Center Is Looking for Volunteers

305905_378004238906070_536998251_aThe Child Abuse Prevention Center, serving all of Westchester County, will hold a one-hour volunteer orientation session, scheduled at the volunteer’s convenience during July or August. Orientation is a prelude to an intensive 12-hour training program, which will take place at the center in the fall.

The Center has a 90 percent success record. English and English/Spanish speaking volunteers are encouraged to attend.

The two fall 12-hour training sessions will take place at the center’s White Plains office at 7 Holland Avenue, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays, September 13 and 30 or Saturdays, September 7 and 21.
