Students Perform “Seussical Jr.” at Somers Middle School

The world of Dr. Seuss came alive at Somers Middle School when students performed “Seussical Jr.” this past weekend, March 3-5.
The musical featured The Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, JoJo from Whoville, Gertrude McFuzz and Mayzie LaBird, as well as many other zany Seuss characters.
The late Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known as Dr. Suess, was born March 2, 1904. March 2 has been adopted as the date for National Read Across America Day.
