Peekskill-based violinist Daisy Jopling performed her second annual show at the city’s Paramount Center for the Arts on Saturday, utilizing young local talent to accompany her. Jopling performed several songs with the Hendrick Hudson High School Treble Makers, a girls’ choir, including her grand finale – a cover of Queen’s “Somebody to Love.” Jopling also backed 12-year-old Gabrielle Sansone as the young girl sang “The Wizard and I” from the hit Broadway musical “Wicked.” She also provided musical accompaniment to a thumping hip-hop dance performance from Dance Expression of Westchester, based in Peekskill. After the show, Jopling hosted a reception at the downtown Division Street Grill.
