Nominate Your ‘Sandy Hero’ Business of Putnam
Hurricane Sandy caused tremendous damage throughout the region. In Putnam downed trees and wires left many without power for about a week. Many local businesses stepped up during that time to help others in the community.
The Putnam Chambers of Commerce and United Way of Westchester and Putnam would like to spotlight and honor those Putnam businesses – large and small – that went out of their way to help their customers cope with the many disruptions that followed the storm.
“We want to hear about your business’s acts of kindness and service to your neighbors,” said PCCC President Jennifer Maher.
Nominations can be sent to Maher at info@putnamchamberny.org or to Peter West of the United Way at pwest@uwwp.org, by Monday, Dec. 10.
