Benefit Concert for Hurricane Relief Monday in Ossining

Several bands with ties to Westchester are scheduled to perform at a benefit concert Monday at Ossining High School to raise money for individuals who need help following Hurricane Sandy.

The “Rock-n-Roll” concert is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. One of the bands that will take the stage is Grammy-nominated Sundad.

The event is being organized by Ossining residents Dee Osborn and Ray Arrucci. Osborn grew up in Monmouth County,New Jersey, which was hard hit by the hurricane.

Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at the door. The Ossining Rotary Club will be selecting charities on Long Island, Staten Island and inNew Jerseyto benefit from funds raised.

In addition, the Ossining Police Benevolent Association will be conducting a coat and blank drive.
