White Plains St. Pat’s Day Parade Step Off 1 P.M. Saturday

We are part of The Trust Project

White Plains St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The Parade will begin at 1 p.m. (time changed  from noon due to rain) on Mamaroneck Avenue and proceed to City Hall, on Main Street. Mary Beth Walsh, MD, representing Burke Rehabilitation Hospital and their 100 years of service to White Plains and beyond, has been named Grand Marshal and will lead the parade along with her Aides. The Aides include: Joseph Collins, Sheila Cooney, Liz Hyland, Larry Meegan, Megan McDowell Rathsack, and Kevin Scully. The parade’s aides are residents of White Plains and can trace their roots back to Ireland (in one case back to the eighteenth century). They proudly support their Irish heritage by participating in the Emerald or Hibernian Societies and encourage their children’s heritage with participation as Irish step dancers.
